POINTS FORTS
Plus d'informations

As you drive north-east out of Edinburgh you can marvel at the engineering feat that are The Kelpies, two 30-metre-high horse-head sculptures. Then, as you travel through Stirlingshire, our guide will bring to life the turbulent times of William Wallace - dramatised in the film Braveheart - and explain his link to the countryside you're passing through. We'll stop at the beautiful city of Stirling for about two hours. This gives you ample time to explore the stunning castle* or stroll through the beautiful and ancient streets that surround it.

You will experience dramatic views of the Loch Lomond & Trossachs National Park, home of the Highland rogue Rob Roy. We visit the beautiful loch side village of Balmaha where you can take a short but steep hike up to Craigie Fort to enjoy stunning views of the loch, or you can enjoy the bonnie banks on flat ground.

Our final stop is one of Scotland’s fantastic distilleries, Auchentoshan*. Here you can learn the process of how they create the perfect dram, and you can taste a couple too! Before we return back to Edinburgh.
