Windsor Castle
Visit the famous Windsor Castle, the oldest and largest occupied castle in the world. Founded in the 11th century, this castle has been the home of over 40 monarchs and is currently an official royal residence of the Royal Family.
This tour includes entry to the iconic castle, giving you access to the lavish State Apartments, home to some of the finest works of art from the Royal Collection, including pieces from Rembrandt and Leonardo da Vinci. Plus, see Queen Mary’s Dolls’ House, built in the 1920s with contributions from over 1,500 of the finest artists and craftsmen of the 20th century. Visit St George’s Chapel, the location of many royal weddings, including the Duke and Duchess of Sussex (Harry and Meghan), and see the resting place of Queen Elizabeth II.
Please note: Windsor Castle is closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. A walking tour of Windsor will operate instead on these days.
Mysterious Stonehenge
Experience the unforgettable atmosphere of Stonehenge as you admire the prehistoric Stones. Follow the footsteps of those who lived here 4,000 years ago and learn about the different theories surrounding the origin of the Stones, from the belief it is a religious temple to an astronomical clock and even a Bronze Age burial ground. Plus, take a wander around the Visitor Centre where you’ll find over 250 archaeological objects discovered in the landscape.
Roman Baths
Enjoy entry to the Roman Baths, a must-visit attraction in the charming city of Bath. Constructed around 70AD, the Roman Baths are one of the best-preserved Roman remains in the world. Even today, over 1 million litres of natural hot spring water fills the ancient bathing site every day. Discover over 2,000 years of history as you explore the museum and walk on the same ancient pavements as the Romans did many years ago.
After your visit to the Roman Baths, you’ll have some free time to explore the city. Standing proudly on the slopes of the River Avon, beautiful Bath was the first city in England to be designated a UNESCO World Heritage site. See the gorgeous 15th-century Bath Abbey, the romantic Pulteney Bridge, and admire the Georgian architecture of the city’s buildings. You may even recognise some streets and areas from ‘Bridgerton’.
