Welcome to Torquay's Miniature World.
Feel like a giant as you enter through the small entrance and the vast miniature world opens up before you. Explore 4 acres of award-winning gardens showcasing hundreds of uniquely hand-crafted model scenes, vehicles & people.
The Model Village portrays a generic version of Britain through the decades with some well-known landmarks too. The attention to detail is incredible with many hidden puns, lots of humour for all ages along with animated displays, including a fire-breathing dragon.
Adults will also appreciate the work and craftsmanship that goes into making and maintaining the models, each costing thousands of pounds to create, ensuring the high quality standards our visitors expect. Children enjoy finding spotter sheet characters and all the quirky fun scenes.
As everything is in miniature, take your time, look and look again, the slower you go the more you will see. Have a game of crazy golf to complete the experience!

The park will close earlier if everyone has completed their visit. Last round of golf will be an hour before the park closes. The village is 4 acres and much bigger than most people anticipate, We recommend you allow 2 to 3 hours. Strictly no admission after last entry time as the park will slowly start to close behind the last visitors.

Babbacombe Model Village is a miniature world with hundreds of model scenes and all kinds of goings-on, along with much humour and many animated displays. It is all set in 4 acres of award-winning gardens.
Each of the model scenes, uniquely crafted by our team, cost thousands of pounds to make. Some of the larger models, such as Bath Crescent, cost around £30,000 to create, ensuring the high standards our customers expect. We are certain you will appreciate the detail and quality of the displays at Babbacombe Model Village.
The village portrays British life and culture over the decades and is sure to bring to life those childhood memories!
Over 400 models of houses, stately homes, factories, shops and entertainment venues. There are many styles from medieval through Shakespearean to Victorian, along with some well-known monuments and landmarks. Not forgetting, of course, over 13,000 miniature people who live in the village. A 1/12th scale model railway loops around the middle of the gardens. Don't forget to activate the fire-breathing dragon!
Adults love the humorous representation of British life over the last six decades and the award-winning gardens. Children love all the miniature characters and enjoy following the spotter sheet to see what they can find (pick up your free spotter on arrival) which includes our new bug trail.
To add an extra dimension of fun, humour and puns prevail throughout the park, some very obvious, some very subtle, but a quick visit is never enough to spot it all. Just one example - see if you can you spot the ghost in the tower, many visitors in a hurry miss it!
There are several fun indoor features too, such as the 'Little Enders' soap set, the Victorian Snowy village and the World of movie miniatures.
The best advice we can give is TAKE YOUR TIME, we promise that you will get so much more out of your visit if you allow plenty of time (at least 1.5 to 2 hours) and go around twice, this will greatly enhance your experience.
